This "egg" is made from the previous two nodes "A" and "L" with added content: another two nodes, "FI" and "FO". (Recall that in order to recognise a node you have to look at the colour of the main node and also at the colour of the ports. You can move the nodes with the mouse.) It gives birth to a creature called quine. I use here the deterministic reduction algorithm, where all possible graph-rewrites are done simultaneously at each step.
This quine is special. It is made by two connected components, one made of 16 nodes, the other made of 2 nodes. At closer examination we see that the 2 nodes component is identical with the previous egg-shell.
So this artificial egg hatched an artificial chicken.
